DSP & myDSP – Which Ad Formats Do We Use?

Overview of Yeesshh’s large-format advertising models across mobile and desktop

🖥️ Yeesshh Specializes in Large-Format, High-Impact Ads

All our traffic is delivered through LARGE FORMAT ads that typically open your lander directly (redirect or full page), ensuring maximum visibility.

Ad formats vary by device type (desktop vs. mobile) and include:

📐 Ad Format Types

🪟 Interstitial / Light-Box / Overlay

  • The user sees a middle page before reaching the target content

  • Often implemented via iFrames inside the visited page

  • ❗ Many ad servers and browsers block iFrames for security/fraud concerns

  • May allow the user to close or skip the ad at any time

Use case: High-visibility branding; not always ideal for strict attribution flows.

🔻 Pop-Under / Site-Under

  • A new window opens under the active browser tab

  • Appears when the user closes or minimizes their current window

  • Known for being less intrusive than pop-ups

  • 📉 Usually lower contextual relevance, so may convert less than pop-ups

Use case: Passive exposure, good for longer session campaigns.

🚀 Pop-Up / New Tab

  • A full-page ad opens in a new browser tab, on top of the current page

  • Very high visibility

  • ⚠️ Some browsers may block this behavior depending on user settings

Use case: Direct engagement, fast conversion tracking, strong call-to-action ads.

🔁 Redirect / 404 / Parked Domain / Exit Yield

  • Happens when a user:

    • Mistypes a URL (404 or parked domain)

    • Clicks “back” on their browser (Exit Yield)

  • The user is automatically redirected to your full-page ad

Use case: Cost-efficient exposure, ideal for aggressive acquisition strategies.
