Bid by Feed and Subid (Special bid)

Special BID allows you to assign a custom price to pay to specific SubIDs (or PUBs) in order to optimize traffic sources individually.

When to Use It:

  • To increase CPC on high-performing SubIDs or PUBs to scale traffic.
  • To decrease CPC on underperforming sources while keeping them active.
  • For testing different bid strategies per traffic segment.

How to Set It:

"myDSP"

  1. Navigate to the Campaign Settings panel.
  2. Look for the “Special BID” section (see screenshot below)
  3. Enter the specific PUB / SubID and set the desired price (CPC for high intent, CPM for Mid intent).
  4. Click +Add 
  5. Scroll to the bottom and Click “Save Changes”:

"DSP"

  1. Campaigns>> offers>> edit>> subID tab.
  2. Tab "subID" / "create" / select Feedid, enter subID and bid adjustment. 
    To enter another bid adjustment, repeat on "create

 

⚠️ Note: 

  • Special BID overrides the default campaign bid for the selected SubID (or PUB) only.
  • You may adjust bid to gain traffic and be more competitive. A good way to do this is to monitor the "position" parametre (see more on "Campaign Optimization" tutorial).
  • Powerful bid adjustments are obtained once your campaign is tracked correctly. You will then be able to bid at optimal level.
